Main Function of Job: A loan broker will ring new leads provided and conduct a two part sales process. The first call is to ensure a full fact find has been done to ensure the best product is recommended. The second call is to offer the loan to the client and advise in full the documents required and standard procedure. When the client has decided to take the loan, the broker will prepare documentation pack and forward this to the Client Account Executive so they can prepare the documents prior to the appointment. The broker will confirm in writing to the client all requirements and will check the application once it has been returned to the office. The broker will then pass the file to the Processing Department for the processing to begin. The broker will deal with customer queries and problem cases. All leads sold remain the responsibility of the broker until completion.
Qualifications Required:
FISA Foundation Examination or Equivalent (desirable)
Experience Required:
Will have had similar experience of at least 6 months within the last three years (desirable)
Knowledge Required:
Working knowledge of the Loans Process
Working knowledge of the Regulatory structure of the FISA
Fully aware of the Company`s T&C Scheme
Working knowledge of the insurance industry, products and risks
Working knowledge of a Compliant Sales Process and Disclosure requirements
Practical Skills
Demonstrate sound analytical skills
Demonstrate good IT Skills with particular regard to MS Word
Demonstrate sound communication skills
Demonstrate sound numeric skills
Person Specific
A mature, confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work is essential. Possessing the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to work on own initiative and within a pressurised environment and being a team player.
